The South Eastern Collegiate Hockey Conference is proud to announce a partnership with the US Army. The SECHC is looking forward to presenting the Army Strong Championship Cup to the winning team at this year’s SECHC Tournament in Huntsville, AL, which takes place February 24-26.
The Army will also sponsor the Army Strong Player of The Match medallions during the playoffs.
“The U.S. Army is proud to partner with the South Eastern Collegiate Hockey Conference Championships, which embrace our shared values and commitment to teamwork, leadership, scholastic and athletic achievement,” said Kim Hanson, U.S. Army 2nd Recruiting Brigade Public Affairs Officer. “We look forward to recognizing excellence on the ice while also highlighting our Soldier Heroes in Huntsville in February.”
A US Army color guard team will present the colors prior to the semi-finals games on Saturday night, 25 February 2012.
“It’s very exciting to have the Army on board,” said SECHC Commissioner Kenny Day. “The SECHC shares the Army’s core values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.”
