UGA opens new facility with a bang

In front of a sellout crowd of 2,197 at their new home in Athens, GA the Georgia Ice Dogs defeated Georgia Tech 6-3 at the grand opening game at The Classic Center Arena.

In what can only be described as a professional style venue and an equally impressive game production, the UGA Hockey team christened their new home in style with a crowd that loudly cheered them on throughout the game (see articles below).

The Ice Dogs also announced their 2014-15 home schedule that includes 20 games at The Classic Center, and season tickets were on sale Wednesday night at the game – the home opener game is against the Florida Gators.
