SECHC Names Jeong Choe Player of the Week

The South Eastern Collegiate Hockey Conference would like to congratulate Jeong Choe on being named this week’s SECHC Player of the Week recipient after an outstanding performance in the Tennessee Ice Vols season opener on the road at Roanoke College.

In the game against the Maroons, Choe, a sophomore forward, scored a hat trick to lead the Ice Vols to a 5-3 victory at the Roanoke Civic Center last Thursday night.

As a freshman last season, Choe was tied for second on the Ice Vols with 26 points. In 17 games, Chow scored 15 goals and had 11 assists. Five goals came on the power play, while Choe also had a short-handed tally.

Choe was honored after the season with an All-SECHC 3rd Team selection.
