Eight SECHC teams will once again be in action this weekend. Mississippi (4-2-0) will get back to the ice after a weekend off, as the Ice Rebels travel to Tulane for a pair of games against the Green Wave.
Mississippi State (0-2-0, 0-1-0 SECHC) also gets back into the fray this week. The Ice Dawgs will travel to Alabama (1-1-0) for a pair of SECHC West games. Both teams will be looking to rebound from losses in their last games.
There will be another pair of SECHC West games this weekend as well, as the Auburn Tigers (1-2-0) will travel to Arkansas (2-3-0). The Tigers will be looking to carry the momentum of a win against Florida State in its last game, while Arkansas looks to bounce back from a pair of losses against DII Lindenwood.
There is one more conference match up this week as SECHC East rivals Georgia (0-1-0) and Tennessee (1-0-0) will face off Friday night. SECHC Player of the Week Jeong Choe will lead the Ice Vols into one of the bigger rivalry games in the conference that dates back through the College Hockey South Conference days to 1988 when the teams first met on the ice.
Georgia will play at Louisville on Saturday.
South Carolina (1-1-1) plays Friday night, as they travel to Appalachian State.
Florida and Vanderbilt have the weekend off.
