Frozen Tide Falls To Kennesaw State

The Alabama Frozen Tide fell 5-3 to the Kennesaw State Owls at home ice on Saturday.

The Owls scored first with a power-play goal 7:20 into the first period when Jordan Crews took the puck to the net.

The Frozen Tide would answer a little over a minute later when Kenny Janssen scored a goal from Chris Edge and Mark Wysock.

The Owls would take the score to 2-1 at the end of the first period.

The Owls scored the next 3 goals taking the score to 5-1.

The Frozen Tide did not give up and tried to battle back in the third period.

Sean Keeler and Mark Wysock would score the Frozen Tide in the third period, but it would not be enough to beat the Kennesaw State Owls.

The Frozen Tide will host the Clemson Tigers on Jan. 13-14 at the Pelham Civic Complex.
