Four SECHC Teams In Top 15 Of Second Rankings

January 9, 2010 – Arkansas, Alabama, Florida and Vanderbilt all remained in the top 15 of the ACHA D3 South Rankings this week. Alabama and Arkansas remained tied for 3rd place. Florida dropped from 11th to 13th and Vanderbilt moved up to a tie for 14th.

Arkansas finds itself back in the No. 3 spot. And again, they find themselves tied with fellow SECHC-West rival Alabama. Arkansas will be playing games at Texas A&M next weekend while Alabama will face off in the Iron Cup series with Auburn .

Florida dropped two spots to No. 13 in the third rankings. The Gators will travel to Savannah this weekend to face Florida State and SECHC-East rival Georgia.

Vanderbilt moved up from the No. 15 spot into a tie for No. 14 in the third rankings. The Commodores don’t play again until January 21 and 22 when they travel to Ole Miss.

South Carolina has recieved votes in all three rankings this year, but have not been able to crack the Top 15. The Gamecocks will face off with in-state rival The Citadel in the up coming week.
